I'm available for hire
I was almost done with my internship, getting in my last few weeks of hours and it was the end of the day. I had one more session with a child I had been seeing who had suffered a trauma and was having difficulty opening up. At the end of the session when I was saying good-bye to this little client, she leans forward and rests her forhead against mine for a minute. Nothing was said, but afterward it hit me, wow today we connected, today we changed something for this little girl. That was awesome and that is why I am in this field.
